The funny thing about being hooked up to the internet in France is that every time I go to a website like Blogger or Myspace, the home page is in French.
The not so funny thing is that free online TV, as in ABC.com, don't work outside the US
Anyways, I've decided to go to Sophie's fete instead of Normandie. I thought to myself, "Hey self! Maybe your future French husband will be at this party. Anything could happen!"
Ma tante d'accueil is thinking of a cool birthday present that I can get Sophie.
To do:
1) Pick outfit to impress said possible future husbands, but classy and chic
2) Become less awkward, so as not to completely humiliate myself at an everyone's-french-but-me party
You know you love me

hi-
i love that you ended it you know you love me a la gossip girl
and to watch new tv... try surfthechannel.com or megavideo. for example, i just watched heroes and oth from last night. :)
i like your reasoning for going to the party, and i want to go see normandie... haha. that would be fun. i've been. but it's beautiful.
ps: my friend and i are planning our trip to paris now. any hostel/hotel recommendations?
also: if trains and planes are the same price (and they are close to it, at least at the moment) any recommendation? like how difficult is it to get from orly or cdg to ile de cite? or paris nord to ile de cite?
Becky! I'm glad you're back online and blogging. I love to hear about France and how you are doing. P.S. great choice about la fête. As much as I love Normandie, people over places every time. Are you going to be able to make a trip up north later though? Good luck with the outfit, I'm sure you'll be a hit. :)
unfortuneately, just normal grocery shopping. but when you visit it will be grocery shopping for real. ;) i'm calling you soon
